There are some out there that would have you believe that the world is coming to an end in short order – well that is simply not the case. Those creatures of a higher order creating humans, as well as those working toward the evolution of man would have left long ago if that were the case.

Humans are a valuable resource which requires constant care and management

Overpopulation is not the problem – distribution of goods is the problem. The earth can support more people than you could ever imagine.

Pollution is not the problem – carelessness is the problem.

Overfishing is not the problem – the total lack of reseeding the oceans is the problem. What farmer continually reaps but doesn’t sow – treat the oceans as a farm, on a grand scale. Those that fish the oceans, must also seed the oceans, as well.

A declining supply of fossil fuels is not the problem – a total disregard for pursuing alternative sources is the problem.

Overexploitation of forests is not the problem – a lack of forestation, afforesting and forest management on a global scale is the problem. Those that harvest the forest, must also plant trees as well.

It is inefficiency and complete carelessness that is the root of the problem.

This should seem like a total disregard for common sense – because it is.

The world, and man, is in this position for the learning of man – not because man is on a dead-end course.

These problems that you appear to have are simply that – problems that you ‘appear’ to have. They exist for the learning of man. Man must learn to be a good steward.

This situation is being burned into the consciousness of man on many levels, so that man, and those generations which follow, will understand in a very real way, the proper shepherding of a planet.

Simply put, this isn’t an intellectualizing type thing – this is a living out and experiencing first hand type thing.

We were not, in the strict sense, responsible for the creation of man; however, we are responsible, in large part, for the creation of the modern human. This may seem like semantics, but it’s not – we’ve simply taken over where others have left off.

And thus is the universe.

Possibly, it usually depends on the sincerity of the questioner ...

At any rate, I'd be interested in your thoughts on The Fabric of the Universe - should you care to comment, once I'm finished transcribing and posting.

I just posted part 1 of 5 or 6 parts, that I'll end up with on the topic - I have over an hour’s worth of audio, but transcribing it is a pain.

This information is starting to interest me, to be honest - although I must admit to never really being too keen on cosmology or astrophysics.
