PostSubject: Morning Coffee   Morning Coffee Icon_minitimeWed May 12, 2010 6:25 am

I started this thread in the MUFON Forum, and I was wondering how it would work out here. So this will be my first one and let's see what happens.

Good Morning All Smile

Much to my dismay Ancient Aliens was not on last night. Why is it that every time the History Channel comes up with a good program it gets canceled. I see more and more shows looking at the internet as a way to provide information more than mainstream media.

Today's Topic From Me:

Burying Your Head In The Sand

I look back at history and I see a trend that has been with us for ever. We fear that which we do not understand.

Our brains are wired a certain way, and it is all part of our survival. Our brain has that built in survival instinct as a conditioned response. I think that warriors and military personnel get conditioned to fight that initial fight or flee response.

So I guess that it should be no surprise to find out that when people started reporting UFOs, that we had to experience something that was unknown to us. Since they exhibited properties and characteristic that were beyond our ability to understand them, we chose to bury our head in the sand and not look at them.

I say we, and I mean that as in more than one person. Remember when you were a kid and you thought there was something in the closet and it made you scared? Your parents would come in and turn on the light and show you there was nothing there. I think this has a lot to do with how we as a whole have been dealing with the whole UFO phenomenon. We can't explain it so let's make believe that it just isn't there.

I strongly believe that if each one of us has the courage to stand up and do what they can to educate the public about the documented proof that we have gathered for the last 40 years, it will make a difference. It is time to walk around and start helping people to understand that it is OK to not understand, but be willing to learn. I have no idea what the future will hold. I do however know that ignoring this as if it did not exist, is not going to help. It is time to understand what is going on, not hide from it.

Easier said than done. If I have learned anything about people over the last 3 decades it's that they don't want to learn; and this idea is not exclusive to the UFO field. People come to conclusions about certain subjects and become ridged in these beliefs, to the extent they refuse to hear that their processing approach, how they have come to their conclusions, is flawed.

I just watched a couple of videos this morning that do nothing but feed the R-Complex brain. This is enough for most people to keep the fear simmering in the background - and they refuse to let go of the picture.

ET is going to have to get actively involved with teaching, and if they "can't" for some odd reason, we need to figure out why. Everything I have looked at over the last 3+ decades has shown that something not very nice is coming. It shows that the last time this scenario unfolded, an entire section of humans who knew NOTHING of the base agreement between ET, humanity, and disaster intervention - died in the last event. The Toba genetic bottleneck is the biggest enigma: 35,000 people left - all on the same continent? Where did the rest of the people on that continent go? And what about Neanderthal people?

There is an enigma in this that if looked at poses a question regarding people, higher brain functioning, and survival. It states: Dummies die. And unless there is active intervention, I fear it is going to happen again.

I'll have a N.A.T.O. Standard please - Milk and 2 sugers.

Hi Gort,

Are you going to make this a sort of a mini series of morning thoughts?

If so, I'm looking forward to it!

Any thoughts written even if not relevant to the person thinking them, may have relevance to somebody else.

Best Wishes, Mac 5.

Good Morning All Smile

Well this is my second cup of coffee and I am really enjoying it.

Today's Topic From Me:

The Essence Of Science

Since the dawn of man, we have used science to understand everything about us and around us. It has been a foundation for almost all that we have built since our existence began.

I had the pleasure of receiving an e-mail from Ann Druffel last night in response to the one I sent her telling her how much I loved her book Firestorm. reading that book has been a catalyst for me to work harder and get even more involved in the UFO phenomenon.

Right now I am trying to imagine what it must have been like to be living and being part of the 50's and 60's as part of NICAP or any of the other organizations that were right there at the front lines, trying so desperately to show the world that what was happening was real. We too have the chance to make a difference in the world. It is in our hands at this time, and we should do all that we can to learn from anyone that was part of that era, and use that knowledge to enhance what we now now. I truly believe that there are scientists just like Dr. James McDonald out there who would devote the same amount of energy to solving the questions concerning UFOs, that he did.

My hope is that Ann will join us here and invite others who understood how important all of the efforts made by our predecessors were, and help us to encourage those like us, to step out of the shadows and work together to make the essence of science the catalyst that propels us forward into a better world.

Regarding Eisenhower, if the component parts of the overall picture are looked at, we need to ask a single question: "What happened?"

I suggest a community effort and a separate posting of the conclusions reached here where no comments are added; it would be a collection of time-line events that will hopefully paint a clearer picture. Like Gort's posting of the Mead quote, we either work together and fix this picture, or we can swim about in a sea of confusion forever.

Is everyone in agreement? Do you want to try this?

Communication Is A Good Thing

I know that as long as we keep on a positive progressive path, and keep communicating that with each other, and the world, great things will result from it.

OK, let's see who else wants this. In the meanwhile hang on cuz I found another anomaly. It conforms to the 911 "signature" approach, and basically say the BP oil disaster - was deliberate. If this is right we had better wake up fast.
