UFOs and the National Security State Vol 2 by Richard Dolan

This volume is over 600 pages and packed with information about the security state and unknown objects. There is even some delving into conspiracy and other theories to give a taste as to how deep and wide spread UFOs have gone in the past seven decades.

Ronald Reagan claims to have seen a UFO, and also made a few cryptic speeches about the possibility of an alien invasion. Was SDI (Star Wars Defense Initiative) a program to defend the world from such an invasion? Many cases are looked at and much behind the scenes drama is depicted in the second volume. The first started and showed how the government just deceived the population, this volume looks at the disinformation and other campaigns run by the government.

There is so much in this book it is hard to talk about one case. Not only the cases are discussed, but some also include what the government did behind the scenes. After reading these two books and not questioning what is really going on, I would wonder if skeptics and debunkers are just burying their heads in the sand. Then again, some segments in the book have me wanting to do the same.

It is also interesting when the author talks of President George Bush the Elder and his possible membership to an MJ-12 type organization. He did lead the CIA for a while and his family has had some major connections to intelligence and the elite. Also fascinating is Eric Walker, one of the original people who may have been witness to what happened after Roswell. He is an enigmatic person who answers questions even more enigmatically.

A very well researched volume with hundreds of citings and footnotes. Highly recommended, and a must have to any serious UFO researcher.
