Are the Jersey Devil and Mothman related?

Monster Quest did a program on the Jersey Devil a while back, and an artist sculpted the drawings of what some witnesses had seen. The unveiled sculptor of the Jersey Devil reminded me of Mothman. I was wondering if it is possible these two creatures are related. Mothman is tall and has glowing red eyes along with bat like wings. I was wondering what others here thought of that possibility?

I believe they are the same. And are actually sightings of squatches. I think the wittnesses let there imagination take over in what they are trying to explain.

Mothman is much larger than the Jersey Devil. I do not think the creatures are Sasquatch, but I do think the Jersey Devil could be an unknown species of large bat. That would explain a lot about the sightings of the creature. All I do know is I would not want to encounter that type of creature at night!

I thought the Jersey Devil was invented by an insurance company or real estate company, something like that. No?

In any event, the Jersey Devil is a creature-in-woods story and Mothman is a synchronicities-lead-to-revelation story, so they aren't both mere creatures in the woods.

Many of the encounters of Mothman were in isolated areas. The religious and premonitions were added by the author of the book on the happenings, John Keel. I read his book a while back (at night), and it was quite scary. I have been meaning to reread the book to find out what is fact, and what was added to make the creature known as Mothman turn into a religious parable.

Unfortunately, we may never know what Mothman was or its origins.

What is the name of that John Keel book?

Its been my experience that any unusual animals with red eyes are related to the Reptilians. Chupacabra, Jersey Devil, Drakkos, Dragons, (Tyranosaurus Rex appears very similar to that of a warrior caste Reptilian), Mothman, etc.
