| Mystery Quest is quickly becoming one of my favorite programs on History. This episode was just as fascinating as the first one, with several aspects and theories being looked at about the famous region known as the Bermuda Triangle (or Devil's Triangle).
The one case of the gentleman Bruce Gernon who possibly traveled in time was given a good look at with a crew flying into the Triangle to check on a theory called electric fog. The results were fascinating as the crew recorded some extremely strong readings from some clouds. While they did not travel in time, it is quite possible Mr Gernon did experience time travel.
The case that was UFO related was from 1980 and dealt with a single pilot of an aircraft who disappeared without a trace. Two very interesting aspects add credence to this case: The first one was a recording of the young pilot yelling mayday and stating a large unknown object was sighted by him. The second part is the object was verified by radar. The recording is downright eerie to listen to. If not for those last two pieces of evidence, this case would be like any other case. Good work on the part of the producers for uncovering this very good case.
This show is produced just like Monster Quest and UFO Files/Hunters. It is very well done and at least takes a good look at what the subjects are for the week. |

| I agree with kidflash2008, this episode about the Bermuda Triangle on Mystery Quest was excellent.
To listen to that pilot on tape from 1980, just before he and his plane disappeared from the skys, and to hear him say "Mayday...Mayday... there is a strange looking craft in front of us.....", well that just put goosebumps all over my body. He said it ALL with those words !!
Another interesting aspect of this particular disappearence is the fact that this plane, if it did crash into the water and/or land, it was equipped with a distress box that gives off a beeping signal for 48 hours. The search planes went out immediately after receiving his Mayday radio call, and no beep signal was ever picked up from that plane. It just seemed to evaporate into thin air.
The pilot calling in a Mayday and stating that "a strange looking craft is in front of us"... Well that just says it all for me.
What else could that possibly be, other than a UFO ?????? | |

| The radar confirmation of the object also did it for me. I do think the recording is one of the best and most eerie things I have heard that is UFO related.
I do not see the pilot as making such a thing up.
I also think this is one of the best shows in terms of evidence. While I do like to hear what witnesses have to say, the evidence to back them up is what skeptics want. This show provided much evidence to debate the subject. Kudos to them for doing their homework. |

| Next week, the show will delve into the Zodiac Killer.
There is a woman who claims her late father is the killer. I wonder if the DNA testing will deal with this latest development. I will be watching this one. |
