UFOs Escorting By US Police

Dallas, TX - 08-07-09

The UFO Casebook received the following information, along with two photographs from a reader.

Reader Details

Time: 9:00 pm - 9:30 pm on I-20 in Dallas. Weather was clear. There were numerous witnesses but no names as people were calling into the radio station I was listening to as well as others after I switched stations. My name is James Garza.

I was actually listening to the radio in Irving, TX, when the DJ said that a lot of people where calling in and saying that there was a truck on I-20 with a UFO on the bed of the truck.

It was being followed by what looked like miltary and police.This was kind of like what they do when a big name politician comes into town where they close the highway down for them. I remember they did that for Donald Rumsfeld when he was here about 2 1/2 years ago.

I then switched to another radio station since the one I was listening to went to commercial, and after awhile of listening they said they were getting calls in about the same thing. I don't know if it was for a movie or what, but if it was wouldn't they have closed the highway down before hand?

There were still civilians on the road at the time. I would have sent this sooner, but I don't have Internet at home and have to do it at work.

In a later e-mail, the reporter also told me that several of the callers said that they could see smoke or steam coming from the UFO on the flatbed truck.

Alleged Photo of Dallas Incident A Little Research

After reading the information above, we began to search for more details of this alleged incident. This is what we found.

We were able to determine that at least one radio station, 97.9 The Beat - Call Letters KBFB, did in fact go live with caller input about the incident above. Here is a report made by another person on a forum.

This one has been getting some press. It’s allegedly pictures of a UFO on the back of an 18-wheeler going down I-20. A man called the local radio station 97.9 the Beat, claiming that he took the pics and there were several government cars following the flatbed which was carrying the massive UFO.

Police escorts were forcing people to exit and shutting down ramps getting onto the highway. It actually looks real, but of course the pics are blurry as hell and hard to see.

It’s easy to declare as fake at first glance, but it starts getting fishy when you take into account that the radio station has been told not to replay the audio, and their email system has allegedly gone automatic. Government intervention? Who knows these days.

The pics first appeared on Twitter and have been generating quite a stir. Is it so crazy to think the government is transporting a UFO down a highway on a flatbed.

Many people have even stated that they believe this could be a prop. Okay... maybe. BUT... props are typically moved in stages, and are not guarded by unmarked black Tahoes and Hummers accompanied by Dallas Police Department.

Those are oversize items being trucked through the state and require police escort. I cannot identify what they are, but the reactions we see are normal for such wide loads.

They could be some type of items used at power plants or for other industrial use.

I have family living in Dallas, so I called them about this.
They tell me that they have heard nothing about this item.
They watched the video above through a link I provided. When I asked them afterwards what they thought about what they saw their respnse was the following;

"Not even the Dallas police are that stupid to escort a flying saucer through downtown Dallas without even the attempt to cover the saucer up."
"Uncle Al, it looks to me like either this was photo shoped or they were escorting some type of industrial equipment. Try and get some sleep."

I thought about my nephew's statement above and remember that I saw a over size truck with it's over sized load just this past Monday.
Here in New Jersey, the police do not escort over sized loads. This is the responsibility of the trucking company and/or the shipper.

This truck I saw on Monday had privet escorts with flashing lights ahead of that truck carrying the load and also to the rear of the said truck. The item(s) being transported were covered with a tarp and could not be seen. It turns out that the item(s) being trucked were for a highway construction site on Route 46 west.

So, something that's going to be a part of a road, exposed to all types of weather, was covered up during it' transportation. BTW-the weather that day was perfectly clear sky and about 78 degrees & sunny.

So I guess ny nephew is correct in saying that if that item in Dallas was a UFO, even the Dallas police are smart enough to know to cover it up as they parade it through downtown Dallas.

Try and get some sleep.

Has or was there any reports of UFOs that night? Its true they should of been tarps over them unless things happend to fast and the order came down to just get them out of there and have damage control so to speak take care of it. You know "You didnt see anything and we were never here" Like the post said hide in plain site. Does anyone know if there is a goverment base of any kind the way they was heading. The only cargo escorted like that is nuke waste from powerplants but the containers look like tylenol caplets. ODD INDEED

There was an actual official explanation of what that was, but I have totally forgot what it was.
