| I am not a Contactee, nor do I channel. I am however in a Clinical Psychology Graduate Program here in the Northeast.
My intent was a simple one - to gather data as a participant. This may not have been the best way to go about gathering data on the abduction experience upon organized religion, and I apologize for any hard feelings, but I was simply after as much firsthand, unbiased data, as possible.
Due to recent events, I thought better of it and realized now was the time to come clean.
Regards Brian

| if your objective was to observe and postulate, doesn't participating at all skew your results as an observer? Everyone has a bias one way or another, So I would think to try to remain as impartial as possible.
I'm a skeptic though. | |

| Jocariah posts ... "to go about gathering data on the abduction experience upon organized religion"
...............................................................................................
NJ's response ....
So you see ? I was correct in my analysis that Jocariah had "an agenda against religion".
Many people thought I was hard on Jocariah, but it was obvious to me that Joc's intentions were to try and dismiss christian beliefs , which of course was a very immature and stupid thing to do when grown people are here trying to discuss ufology, because all it did was disrupt the topics and steer the conversations into arguments over religion. Pearl jumped on with both feet and saw it as an opportunity to get her pound of flesh against something that she has a huge bias against (christianity). It is sad when people allow their personal dislike of christianity to infilterate a ufo conversation, which is what ultimately was the result of Jopcariah's little game.
now maybe we can all move past this and get back to enjoying the real conversations on the topics. And if I share my personal opinions and theories that some aliens might represent fallen angels, etc. , it should not be construed that I am trying to promote my religion , I am giving a plausible theory relating to the topic of ufo's, i'm not forcing anyone to agree with the theory, but I feel the theory shows much evidence and offers another explanation for the mystery. Even Mike Good contends that the ufo's might not even be something that can be proven in a science lab , they could be so far outside the realm of our understanding and don't adhere to our laws of physics or share materialistic properties that we understand ... which I feel ties in with the possibility of being part of the spiritual warfare and angels who can appear and disappear in our realm , they can transform into the physical or disappear into thin air ... so try and understand that my purpose is to discuss the ufo relationship and its mysteries, i was never trying to promote one religion over another.
thank you. | |

| "I am not a Contactee, nor do I channel. I am however in a Clinical Psychology Graduate Program here in the Northeast." ...I would expect to be called a liar, too. Psychology?! Fog fables and mind games played blindly on a field of unseen and unguessed obstacles. Where the worst pretend a dominion over their fellow humans based on the softest of soft sciences, and the least deceive their companions on a message board. Regards Brian Yo, J/Brian nee unscrupulous "researcher": I suppose the biggest disappointment would have been the recognition that nobody fell to their knees in supplication to the great channeled teachings of the ever rational (to a fault I might add) Jocariah. And what about that "no belief systems" allowed thing? Isn't psychology a belief system? Duh. Dude, white man speak with many-forked tongue. Whatever you may have learned about us great unwashed out here in UFO lunatic land, one would hope that you have learned something disturbing and unsavory about yourself. If not, then I would say that your narcissism is pathological and unquestionably sociopathic. Maybe you should see a shrink. I am not convinced that this "confession" of yours is not some sort of "experiment" as well. But hell, once you have abrogated trust, you are on shaky ground regardless. Way to completely alienate yourself in the land of "alien believers" whatever the hell that may mean. Boy, no hard and fast definition there either, eh? Dude, WTF! | |

| Honesty and ethics count. In some academic programs in times not-so-long-ago but long-since-past such behaviors were neither rewarded nor tolerated.

| Contactees and other claims are not high on my list when it comes to ufology. While it is good that you did come forward, I do wonder how many people believed you were a channeler right off the bat?
This is exactly what I mean when I discuss the field needs a vetting process. |

| Since I believe that probably 99% of channelers are 1) self deluded, or 2) complete frauds, I never paid much attention to anything Jocariah had to say.
Since almost everyone I know that has gone to see a psychologist has actually become worse rather than better I have about the same belief in psychology that I do channening.
Obviously, there is no way to vet everyone that shows up at every message board. Although, it did seem to me that most people that bothered to comment didn't seem to have much belief in Jocariah's posts. No vetting needed, most people are smart enough to not believe such tales without any evidence. As I have said before, the ones that do believe will believe even with everyone else telling them it is a hoax. | |

| I guess it all boils down to what exactly he hoped to accomplish. To get in good and get a good idea on how weirdos operate, or try to 'get in good' then 'betray' them in hopes of putting a chink in their belief system somehow. I don't know, but what he did isn't even good information gathering. from a HUMINT standpoint- he pooped in his feeding trough. | |

| Yeah I kind of thaught you were fishy when I posted in your Black Heli thread. You had no interest in finding out about them but claimed to be a contactee. Then you posted threads rambling about stuff I couldnt even make sense of. So this took you 4months plus to do this study? What did you find out? | |
