| The weekend getaways for my brother and sisters, all now in their 50's and 60's, did not go as planned. My brother, who is the quieter and more gentle one, confessed (with anxiety) that he believed he had been abducted and probed. He said he's been waking with nightmares, and about 3 weeks ago he woke tired, and fearful, felt probed and had a small hole near the bottom of his spine. Some of us have had a few rare "odd experiences", but alien abduction seems over the top, even for my family...How can I help him? | |

Can you get a close up picture of this "hole"?

| He said this event had happend several weeks before he told us and the wound took over 2 weeks to heal...We laughed at him, so I'm not sure how cooperative he'll be sharing a picture of what, I assume, will be a scar now. | |

That doesn't help ...
My approach to "abductions" is simply that they must have solid proof, for the simple reason that people can either make stuff up, or, be innocently mistaken and jump to conclusions, or, just be "mentally unstable" in a certain percentage of these cases. So, unless there is solid proof it's a waste of time to go into it - it's all conjecture.
For years people claimed "anal probes" and the question is begged: What possible use can an anal probe be, unless it's a camera and you are looking for tumors ... and then, whoever these beings are MUST have a better way to look for things up yer butt than to take a stroll up there. We do - it's just cheaper to shove a camera up there. A simple blood test can find most anything you want to know about a person. As far as I am concerned, anal probes are a meme.
I would tell your brother that unless he has definitive proof that he experienced this, not to worry about it. I think this is a case of jumping to conclusions.

| The data retrieved by hypnotic regressionists in abduction research is deeply flawed by the modality of collection. Most often the motive of the regressionist is to make money for himself and not in any way to help the abductee. The collection of conference fees and book deals take precedence over the client’s needs. Where the abductee should consult the sleep doctor, he gets sucked into hypnotic regression. Where the abductee's search for truth should have her consulting trace evidence experts, field investigators, gynecologists, radiologists, and surveillance specialists, she winds up in five-hour long hypnosis sessions. Where the abductee's well-being should take precedence, his importance is relegated to a footnote in the back of the hypnotist's latest bestseller. I therefore condemn hypnotic regression for the fraud it most assuredly is. http://www.ufoalienabductee.com/speculative-realms/death-of-salesmen.pdf | |

If he were asking for truth- that's another story. So then your approach is help by any means, and lying is OK? Fascinating.

| Actually O.C., I thought it was a great film. It pretty well sums up my feellings for most of the UFO community. The seeing is believing. Once you have the experience you need to have a laugh out of it. lYou know that most of the folks we deal with think we are wackoes for haveing come forth with our experiences. Like in lthe film we need a paulie to moon them. I am sure we need to start a count down..... About 13 years ago we had a 500 yr flood event, Today we are headed down that trail again.. Mother nature has a nasty habit of thining the herd when it gets to big. Hate to admit it but I do think the herd is to big. It will be intresting to see what happens. Maybe we can get glider to start another event for the 21st. Then count down to next year.

| O.C., Yea, but ya see I am a for real relic. I actually am an ole jungle expert. I have survived in more rain forest then I can count. I even had one where nobody was shooting at me. The thing is to take the trapping of civilization off and set them to one side. I have a good latin machettie that has seen me thru many an occasion. A good cross bow at 150 pds. real quiet. A nice rugger 22 with a sound suppressor, the one we used to call a "hush puppie". A real noisey model 1911 45 cal. Well you get the picture. Thats the ole war chest. I hope I never have to bring them out again. I used to move thru the woods like a ghost, now I'm to old and fat. One day I hope my son and grandson will take good care of that stuff, but then I hope they never need it.
