Flying Man with Wings

Last summer while sitting at a stop light I witnessed a large man with wings flying through the clouds. He had a iridescent color and was gliding through the clouds around the sun. It was amazing watching him soar. I've never witnessed anything like it before in my life. I have done research and have found that there have been sightings of a Mothman in West Virginia. I live in Western Maryland very close to WV. Has anybody else witnessed this flying in the clouds?

Could it have been an angel ?

They now have these flying suits that are brightly colored. The people who wear them look like flying squirrels. They glide down to Earth, and look like they are flying like a superman.

I am wondering if you could have seen one of these or a variation of the suit.The gliding you state sounds like it could be such a suit.

It could have been either of the above. I'm really not sure. I do know it had to be at least 12 ft long because it was far enough up in the sky and still looked fairly large. I've been doing research for the past 12 months so that I could try and find out what this thing was. I researched the mothman and he was described as being brown. Just curious and probably always will be as to what this thing was. The thing is, this had large wings and instead of flying downward from the sky, it was soaring in and out of the clouds for a long period of time, sometimes flying higher into them. Thank you for your comments and input.

One must rule out all other explanations before going the Mothman or other paranormal route. There are other types of small gliders made for people, and that includes home made ones. I hope you do find out what you saw, and make sure to report back here and tell us about it.

Thanks Kid. I'll find myself looking to the sky for the rest of my life. I can't help myself now that I've seen this thing. The blonde that sits through a green light, with horns blowing, because she's trying to find a man flying high in the clouds... that doesn't paint a pretty picture huh? I'll let you know if I ever see it again.

Don't be so hard on yourself as you had an unusual experience in your life. Many people never have anything happen close to what you saw. I am one to also look in the sky just in case there is something unusual out there. Our ancestors always looked up in the sky, and maybe we should continue to do so.
