| You know, I was thinking the other day of just how far our technology has come in the last twenty years. I mean from 1900 to 1950 advancement was incremental at best. Then Roswell happened. I know it sounds flimsy or like something a conspiracy theorist would say, but think about it. Ever since that eventfull night our technology has advanced by leaps and bounds, from desktops to defense systems. We are always on the brink of some technological breakthrough these days and it's had me wondering. "Are we just getting that good?" I doubt it. If we can put a rover on Mars, land on the moon, build a space station, transmit data from the far reaches of our galaxy. How come we still struggle with health issues llike cancer, aids, herpes? Why is there still world hunger? Why is our economy in the current state of upheaval? How come we can't figure our own weather out? I mean if our civilization as a whole is getting smarter and more advanced, why haven't we gained any ground on these domestic issues? If you ask me it's much easier to copy what someone else has done than to originally come up with the idea yourself. I said all that to say this, reverse engineering. I truly believe that alot of our technology of late has been reversed engineered from someone else's ideas. I mean after all our government has been doing that since the world wars. Just ask the Germans! All I am saying is if we are truly so well evolved you would think the simple problems of health, food , etc. would be an easy fix. We are ready to know the truth, we are an advanced civilization enough to know if we are not alone in the universe. The people are ready to know. So why don't the boys in Washington let us in on their secret? Even the bible speaks of "worlds formed". I am just saying that if the universe is always expanding how can we be the only little planet with intelligent life on it? | |

| Why the ills of the world? Politics. It is those who are in charge who make policies that can help or hinder the world and progress. The sad fact is that until we quit killing each other in wars over oil (and whatever other excuse they use), we will never really evolve. We have left our spiritual side for a more materialistic one. Until we find the other side and have a yin and yang, then we can progress. That is the short answer. Goddess Bless, Lloyd

I am just saying that if the universe is always expanding how can we be the only little planet with intelligent life on it? Bstill, Well, that depends on your definition of "intelligent". Is it "intelligent" to fabricate the instruments of our potential self destruction, while ignoring the social pressures and issues that could so easily cause that potential to become a reality? Personally, I consider that beyond dumb. I actually wrote a short piece on this very issue over on the UFO mag blog: http://ufomagazine.squarespace.com/ufo-magazine/2008/9/9/wisdom-from-outer-sapce.htmlAn advanced technology without a concomitant advancement in social and spiritual knowledge is, essentially, a formula for suicide. Our suicidal tendencies are basically down to an utter lack of attention to the perilous nature of our self inflicted situation. It is reminiscent of the old story of Nero fiddling while Rome burned.... | |
