I am number 4

I checked this out on my lunch break today. I was expecting it to be a horror film but it was really an alien flick. It was like michael bays (transformers) re-imagining of the show roswell on the WB. With humanoid aliens with special powers that are being hunted by another weird humanoid species that conquers worlds. It touched a little bit on ancient astronaut theory amongst other things vaguely. Cool effects cool alien beasties, giant ray guns and sweet special powers. There are a lot of cheesy 1980's style one liners however it brought the film down a little. All in all it wasn't what I expected however it was pretty good. It was more like a pilot for a WB series. I rate it 6/10. Go check it out if you have time to kill.

OK, that was 6 months from the original post. I haven't seen one commercial on this ... never heard that title come up once - ever.

I just found your innitial response funny since the title of the thread was "I am Number 4" under the forum topic of movies. I don't mean to make fun, but I did giggle and roll my eyes a little...

No biggy - it depends where my head is at any given moment. 99% of the time I'm so preoccupied it's like have to descend from orbit just to hear what's being said by someone next to me. My daughter or the grand kids will walk in, go through this long - whatever they are talking about - and I'll look up and be like - W H A T ? I really am - not here - most of the time LOL. What's funny is that they look at what I'm doing and then they're like - W H A T ?
