Lake Vostok Anomoly (Antartica)

I recently watched on U Tube a radio broadcast by Richard Hoagland about the Vostok Anomoly. A liquid (warm) fresh water lake under the ice, plus an exstinct civilisation or city there. If memory serves me correctly he said that JPL had been developing a new sterile method for drilling as current tech causes too much polution; ultimatly to be used at the site and later in the space program.

He mentioned that data recieved indicated that the ice covering the lake did not go down to the surface, but formed a sort of dome over the top of it; and that life forms may be present in the lake that have been evolving independantly since the last ice age. He also stated that the N.S.A. took over the project from JPL.

Robert Bob Dean said in one of his video's on U Tube that U.S. Intelligence are very interested in the region.

I believe the radio broadcast was aired in 2001, quite a while ago.

Does anyone know what has happened in this story since then?
