Flashing multi colored orbs

[b] : I've been noticing for the past 4 yrs or so these multi colored flashing orbs in the skies over my house in Princeton,WI . First there would only be one just above each horizon never moving even with the rest of the stars. In the past year there are more with another strange thing ,flashing red and white orbs that moved very quickly & quietly thru the skies. At first they do look like airplanes yes I know. I've heard it many times when I'm trying to point them out but if they are planes then where is the green? It doesn't matter which way they are going there's never green. So what are they? I've had ppl tell me the multi colored orbs are stars it has something to do with the ice crystals and the way the sunlight hits them makes the light show but I disagree. If they are stars then why don't they move with the rest of the night sky, and why is it only certain stars? My sister & I were up in Wisconsin Rapids watching the flashing red & white orbs they would come in from the north circle the area and go back sometimes one coming in passing another that was leaving.What is going on up there? Anyone?
