It's 32 pages, each as a jpeg image. I saw this come up on ebay recently, and the bidding went pretty high, so I'm glad I found this. I just wish I had some pdf software to create a more readable version. I'm sure that the text might be a bit small for some.

No problem.. Unfortunately, as I was trying to make a pdf of the images, to make the thing readable, I noticed that the last 6 pages are missing. I'm looking around and I see that the cheapest one for sale is $60.

But I already made the (incomplete) pdf, so here it is:

Get it on scribd: http://www.scribd.com/doc/35114133/SMM-V1N1-Incomplete

If you don't have or want a scribd account,

Download it from mediafire. (copy and paste the link to avoid annoying click-through ads)

I had a look at the shaver material and that mandark writing has me intrigued. I have to go over that one with more intensity. Thanks for making it available.

Just to avoid confusion, I didn't make the original scan, I just decided to turn it into a pdf because it's so much more friendly than reading jpegs.

The original upload is work of Shavertron, which seems to be run by a guy named Richard Toronto. There is a plethora of cool stuff on there, including more jpeg scans of other Shaver-related 'zines.

I've taken it upon myself to turn a few more into pdf...

Shavertron #2

Shavertron #3

Shavertron #4

Shavertron #7

I have no clue if those are complete. I'm just using what is already available on the Shavertron site.

Again, if you don't want to deal with Scribd, get all 4 pdf's in a zip file here:

I just made a pdf of Shaver and Palmer's, I Remember Lemuria, taken from Amazing Stories, March 1945.

I Remember Lemuria

Or, get it from mediafire:
Code:
http://www.mediafire.com/?j583w8gp58a53uc

I added another title to the beginning, otherwise it's an exact copy of how it appeared in the original issue.

Maybe at some point, I'll take all the various letters from the readers, and make something out of them.

Wanted to give a big thanks to Wilhelm for this Shaver material. It is amazing. Sometimes the strangest stuff gives a clue to the envelope's edge, and I enjoy examining it. So nice of you to make this available!

cheers
