PostSubject: Arthur C Clarke's Mysterious World   Sat Apr 18, 2009 5:29 pm

Arthur C Clarke's Mysterious World was another one of the few series about the paranormal that ran on TV in 1980. The show had only 12 episodes, so it does not get reran very often. What was interesting in this show was Mr Clarke appeared at the end of most episodes and told what he thought of each subject. A little more skeptical, the show never made fun of the subject or people involved.

Any fans of this show out there?

I do recall the series "In Search of" but not "Mysterious World" but I had a thick book written by Arthur C Clarke in the early 80's.

Since the show had only 12 episodes produced, it did not get syndicated much. I have seen it on some PBS stations, usually on Saturday nights. It is recommended if you can find it.

Thank you very much for the episodes, fixer. I guess that is where you got your name.

The shows may be older, but they still have a lot of information. It is also interesting to see the points of view from back then.

Goddess Bless,

Lloyd
