| Just wanted to brag because I finally found a copy of (California) UFO Vol. 1, No. 1.
That's pretty much it....

I hope you aren't also the head of marketing for "UFO Matrix." Not really the best way to drum up business. But thanks for burning yours; Makes mine all the more rare!

| Who's drumming up business ? The magazines quality both in production and content will speak for itself. Order a copy and treat yourself and you'll see what I mean. It's out at the end of July via: www.healingsofatlantis.comAll the best, Philip. | |

| Too bad it won't be available on the newsstand in the US, otherwise I'd steal a bunch of copies and use them in my birdcage. | |

| You should have let me know you needed something for the bottom of your birdcage, I could have sent you the copies of UFO MAGAZINE I had. I could haved saved polluting the atmosphere when I burnt them.
I can of course send you the attorney's letter I received from UFO MAGAZINE Inc as it's already full of shit so it should be ideal.
Have a nice day.

I hope you're not being facetious because I would actually love that, thank you. send to: wilhelmglocke at gmail.com It really is too bad that you're acting like such a berk, Mantle, because I was probably going to order your magazine anyway. There was no need to try to bring me down just because you have a problem with Bill Birnes; He didn't even have anything to do with "California UFO" when it came out in 1986. I was merely a bit excited that I found a copy of the premiere issue, and I was well aware from the other thread(s) that you burned yours. And you know what? Who gives a rat's ass? The KLF burned a million pounds sterling on the Scottish island of Jura in '94. Burning a bunch of magazines about flying saucers sort of pales in comparison, don't you think?

| I may be acting like a berk, but I can live with that. But it's not this berk that's sending out attorneys letters is it ? Send me your snail mail address and I'll be more than happy to supply you with a copy of UFO MATRIX upon publication. How does that sound ? I've no axe to grind with you or anyone else for that matter but when it comes to taking the mick you started it old boy. As for Bill & Nancy I've no axe to grind with them either and I wish UFO MAGAZINE wevey success, it's just a shame that UFO MAGAZINE Inc can't seem to stomach a bit of friendly competition.
Have an even nicer day today than you did yesterday.

It's a bit childish to tell someone that they started it - especially when it's incorrect. What did i start? I read the other thread, was interested from a legal point of view, and I even found and linked to an article about US copyrights not being enforceable in the UK. Furthermore, i offered a simple solution to what I perceived as the problem - the logo. I did point out that you were (and are, admittedly) acting like a jerk.

| It seems we have our wires crossed here. I'm not blaming you for anything. If I have not made my point clear on who I believe is to blame please accept my apologies. Let me send you a copy of our new mag just to show you that this jerk can say sorry for any misunderstanding.

Philip. | |
