PostSubject: Middle ground   Thu Jul 30, 2009 3:56 pm

I've tried (OK, I'm not perfect Wink ) to see both sides of an issuse. I've had a different kind of life, I've always have seen life different than most of the people I have been around, from my family to my spiritual friends.

In different posting one had brought up that in UFO area that they had a split, nuts and bolts (physical) to the mind (psychic) areas. I can accept and understand there would be a difference, why not its that way in almost all areas why would the area of UFO's be different.

Its not just in the UFO area of life but I've found that more and more we humans go straight to find the differences with each other and we not want to find out what we agree on anymore. To me we place ourselfs into this group or that group like a book store, then we break ourselfs down even more with in the group.

Yes, it has its good points but are we not getting ourselfs more and more looking to find how we differ from one another than finding what we agree on. Middle ground. Neutral

To me the answers are within each and everyone, the truth is in everything and the truth is within nothing we have to find that middle ground. This may sound like hippy dippy talk but to me the more we slpit within our own the more chances of EGO, GREED and other bad things taking a hold and destoring the larger group.

Please know that this is coming from a soul that has yet to find the group in life that I full feel that I belong too. I have been the person that is looking in the window and wanted in and I've been the person in the center of a group looking for the exit sign. The older I get the more that I see that we not want to agree to disagree but want to just disagree louder and louder.

Just thinking. flower

ALT,

The world indeed does seem to be devolving into a stasis of collective polarization. It all comes down Bush's childish declaration that, "You are either with us or against us."

In the field of ideas everybody is taking sides and girding their loins for some great perceived battle to maintain what: the absolute "correctness" of their individual points of view?

As long as we see life as some sort of contest, we will always live in a world of violence, divisiveness and despair. Apparently this is the price for the ego gratification of being able to say: " I was right." But just because one side gets to say it does not make it true. And who the hell in their right mind cares anyway?

Life is not a contest to see who among us is the most successful at being selfish. It is a place where we all must work to ensure justice for all.

Until enough of us figure that out, we are in for a rough ride ahead. Bummer dude. But I do feel you....

Is it possible both are right? Could nuts and bolts craft be visiting the Earth form other worlds? Could there be portals that open to the "Otherworld" and other dimensions? I think that is the case as many of the cases out there are very different from each other. Betty and Barney Hill may have been taken aboard an actual craft, while many people in their bedrooms take a journey to the "Otherworld".

If one is a specialist in a part of the field, they should work on finding the best way to research it. Attacking another version of what is happening does not solve the case as to what is going on.

I do hope peace can be achieved in ufology so the answers can be found. Arguing among each other is our worst enemy. The government agencies do not have to do anything to hurt us anymore. We are doing a fine job of that ourselves.

Goddess Bless,

Lloyd

I can agree that Bush's mindset didn't help it one bit, but if you look at the U.S. history we have always been bad at fighting with ourself over the little things until someones comes along and makes everyone mad at them. When we have a single focus on one like minded group, Nazis, Japan, like in WWII we in the most part put are difference aside and find a middle ground to work with each other to destroy that other group. Shoot, for the first couple of months after Sept. 11 we did the samething but that didn't last long thanks to Government lies. (Oh, my sorry our government has never lied to any of us. Rolling Eyes )

It may make me sound like a crazy hippy pinko pig , but if the only way we can stop fighting with each other is to find someone else larger to fight with. Should we not stop and start looking at ourselfs in a collective mindset to find out what thing, energy, thought that in within ourselves that keeps us fighting over nothing issuses, from not just agree to disagree, Live and Let Live. flower

Some are worried about 2012 but if our mind set keeps up we're either going to destroy ourself or we are going to create a bigger monster in life to force us to join together again and that. We try to prevent sickness shouldn't we want to prevent destruction. scratch

I'm sorry, I've been thinking again. lol!

Peace out. sunny

I wanted to say I'm sorry if I stepped on anybody toes, please know that I didn't mean it to be a hit on anybody in the UFO area. pale

I've seen the same fight in the spiritual world to people who say they see UFO's. I have a friend who drives between Indy and Anderson all the time, going from her home to a spiritual camp, mostly at night and she see things in the air all the time but she has to watch who she tells because there are people in the camp that will call her crazy for even talking about UFO stuff. confused

For me these people have no trouble beliveing that grandpaw, grandmaw or uncle Joe is standing next to you saying "Hi" but can't open their minds to there being other things out there in this world. scratch

I've been thinking about why couldn't we find middle ground for a long time and I have yet to find a true answer. I know I should just stop thinking and just become another airhead fool like the rest of the world. monkey

You are not stepping on any toes with your thoughts. One thing we all can agree on is learning something new from a member here. If one disagrees with the idea, then one should state the reasons why. It is healthy to have debate, especially in areas such as UFOs and other paranormal phenomena.

PostSubject: Re: Middle ground   Sat Aug 08, 2009 3:45 pm

It may have to due with the fact that I learning a new job and right now I'm second guessing everything I say and/or due. Question
I know the main reason I'll say sorry is I got burnt by some so call friend and I'm slowly reaching out again. It also not helping that this is all writing, (Spell check, God do, I love them. Wink ) I'm different in person, I can sound smart when I talk but I have trouble spelling the words that I want to say.

I'm a nut, I can be to honest for my own good at time. I tell everyone that my mouth and mind work on different fields and if I cant use my hands I'd never be able to speak, so now I have to use my hand to type my mind has no clue at times how to act. lol!

I also have to be careful I can read people even when I'm not trying to. If I'm sitting around with some of my friends or people that I feel safe around a thought, ideal will come to my mind and out my mouth before I can filter it and wham, I hit on something that they wanted hidden. Rolling Eyes Opps! Sorry!

After years of embarassing so of my friends and my mind being shot from learning something new I do find myself saying it a lot. flower

It has yet to stop my for talking or writting. Rolling Eyes So maybe I'm not sorry. Question

I think we have all been there on learning the new job. It never gets easier when we get older. We tend to want to show we are very mature and can handle the new responsibilities, but on the inside we just want to curl up in a little ball and cry.

After a month, we then wonder why we made such a fuss about it as the job is like a cakewalk.

PostSubject: Real individuals   Sat Aug 08, 2009 9:36 pm

You know this world really saddens me sometimes. As soon as real individual does things people want to cast stones. Not referring to anyone on this site, but all my life I have been on the outside looking in. As a kid we are taught by school, government, etc., to fit in. Even if that means sacrificing some individuality. But as I am getting older and have children of my own I have come to this realization. People who feel like they don't belong usually are shining individuals, whose radiance makes others uncomfortable. Even though today we may feel like we are the most expressive generation, tolerating each others difference's, we still seek out groups who wage war on other groups. That is why a real individual stands alone, not because we are unloved, or just
don't belong. But because we have something every one in this world is not sure how to deal with. I love who I am and I view this world very differently than most, but I am always open to other's perspectves with my own
in my mind. Don't be ashamed of who you are, anyone shunning you are just uneasy with how real a person you
happen to be.

PostSubject: Re: Middle ground   Tue Aug 11, 2009 2:27 pm

It makes me sad at times when my friends want to pull back from me, but I can understand at the same time their feelings. Good, bad or what ever everyone has the right to have there own hidden selfs (walls around their inner soul) and when your faced with someone that you feel is reading everything about you you want to pull back and hide. In some cases I have had the effect on some as a lighting rod of telling the truth they can't lie around me. (Personally, I wish more souls would do that one around me, life would be so easier.) As I get older most of the time I see and forgive them but hey I'm human I forget and it gets to me. As I learn more about the other side of life I'm finding that there are no hidden parts about any souls in the world and everyone has gifts within themselve to do the same as me and see the truth in others too.

I've learned which souls that I can trust and which only want me around when their life is in the air and want help cutting to the truth for them. The only trouble I have at times is remembering that those souls are just one way friends that I'll only see when they are in need. I know that those are not really friends but we are all humans that need to work together to make it on this earth, plus what you put out will come back to you in many different ways. sunny I know that I have been blessed to have many different doors open to me and they opened because of everyone that I've meet and helped on my path of life.

peace out. flower
