The History channel is reairing their new show 'Ancient Aliens'. It'll be on tonight (March 14) at 8 pm Eastern time. It's a great special that really looks into how history and aliens are connected.

Is that the same show from last weekend or is it a series with a new one each Saturday?

I really enjoyed the one last weekend with Giorgio and Erich!

It's the same one that was on last weekend, at least that's what Zap2it's description says. I watched it last weekend too, but I'm making sure to record it this time Very Happy

Here's what Zap2it has at their site:

By circling the globe in search of evidence, investigators try to determine whether or not life on Earth began in outer space and if aliens influenced mankind in ancient times.

I was hoping the program would talk about Graham Hancock and Colin Wilson's theories on the subject. Their thinking is (and I tend to agree with it) that civilization is much older than previously thought. There was a great catastrophic event over 10,000 years ago that wiped much of the older civilization out. Here is an article in USA Today about a group of comets believed to of crashed into the North American continent at the time:

http://www.usatoday.com/tech/science/2009-01-01-wollymammoth_N.htm?loc=interstitialskip

The possibility civilized teachers taught the survivors of the catechisms and left monuments as clues is very likely.

Graham Hancock's "Fingerprints of the Gods" and Colin Wilson's " Atlantis and the Kingdom of the Neanderthals" are must reads on the subject.

personally, the ice age ending and raising sea levels wiped out a lot.
Was that caused by a comet? Maybe.
