| A major electronics company, starting with "A," believes in aliens! While trying to replace my brand new computer motherboard, I looked up the company's warranty policy. And, right there included under "Exclusions to Warranty," the company lists "Damage caused by Space Invasion". It's true...wish I could name the company to prove it. Ronbo1013 Thought about it for a few, and thought I'd cut an paste directly from the site... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Exclusions from this Limited Warranty Service The warranty will not apply to or be valid under conditions including but not limited to the following: There is damage caused by natural disaster, intentional or unintentional misuse, acts of war, space invasions, abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or use under abnormal conditions --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I highlighted the part of the warranty I was referring to. | Hello Ron K.,
One can of course in this biz easily see Aliens everywhere but WRT the level of public responsibility of "A" I'd be more inclined to think of damage due to an "invasion" of one's living or work "space" by a Human (or an animal such as a bear or racoon) as opposed to any ET invasion. Unless an alien from an Earthly foreign country.

| Glider...I just thought it funny that this company, who wouldn't believe my story that I received the board damaged, does believe the story of aliens. And that they are worried that someone would actually send in something for replacement after an alien invasion. Like that's going to be one of the first things surviving humans are going to be thinking about. "Gee, before I respond to this space invasion I have to contact 'A' to get that board fixed!" Yea, right...and like anyone would be at "A" to answer the request! What I can't believe is that they don't even understand their own warranty policy. That is what I'm fighting them about. A brand new unused damaged item that they say isn't warranteed. RMK PS...didn't think anyone was reading these anymore. | |

| Hello Ron K.,
Ah, I see now. It is good food for ruminating and, oh yes, we still read these things. It's about the only way to keep sensibility alive and well here which most of us, if not all, greatly appreciate. Keeps the chaffe to a minimum for clarity. And indeed, welcome to the Forum. Not a lot goes on here but what does is extremely rich and on point. For various reasons I'm a member of 20 odd UFO Forums and I'm not a believer in ET. Even still folks here have accepted me nonetheless. And believe me this one is the most thought provoking of them all. Hardly any sensationalism but that's what makes it such a grounded place to discuss matters. Few are prone to jump down the unproven rabbit holes and speculation for good reason seems to be the norm. So again, welcome.

| Thanks for your welcome. I was trying to embarrass the electronics company, but not too many have seen this so far. Do you know which one I speak of? Also, I am not convinced one way or the other yet. I see things that make me wonder, and then others that don't. It is entirely possible, unless you are a devout reader of the bible. But we won't get into religion here. I did see a UFO myself way back in 1967. My neighbor came running into the house yelling for me to come out. When I did, there was this "light-yellow-green" light in the sky. It seemed very high up (I lived near Newark Airport so I was a pretty good judge of altitude.), higher than the planes approaching the airport over my home. It moved in a SW-to-NE direction. In a perfectly straight line. It left no trail of any kind, just the spot of light. It continued to the NE until we could not see it over the houses anymore. It made no noise that we hear, there were 3 of us, but it was rather high up. The time was near sundown, with the sun off to the west, we were seeing the bright yellow-green light, which would have been on the eastward facing side of whatever it was, so not a reflection off the sun. Never found out what it was. Ronbo1013 | |

| Its has always seemed funny to me that the transistor was introducted in 1947, same year as Roswell crash. When the vaccume tube began life in the mid 19th. century, and was still evovling into the 1950's (sub-miniture types). Check out americancomputers on the web. Saberjet/ Sunny Fla. | |
