PostSubject: Sneak Peeks   Wed Mar 11, 2009 11:59 am

I have just watched very rough cuts of a couple of the early new episodes for the third season. Without giving away the locations and the topics, I will say, however, that I am very relieved.

I really like Ted, the science guy, and I was sorry to see him leave. He has a new baby, among many other family commitments, and will not be part of the new season. Instead, the new guy is named Kevin, and he's totally different.

He is very skeptical, and I was worried that this show doesn't need another skeptic. There are plenty of them to go around, after all. But it's a dynamic that is working this time. I think it might be because he's a skeptic who is still willing to consider things, even if he's sometimes dragged kicking and complaining along for the ride.

So, that's good. There is stuff so incredible coming up ... I wish I could talk about it. Gross, scary, icky ... but incredible. It will start airing again in just a few weeks.

Smile

I am thrilled to report that the show is absolutely helping sales. We are basically staying in business and not raising our cover price because of the show. Long live the show!

Great news for the magazine and the show! Does the new season start this Wednesday (March 18th), that's what Zap2it is showing. I thought I read somewhere that someone said it start the 26th. Either way it's great to have the new season starting so soon, I just want to make sure to have DVR fired up Cool

Bill just posted at the blog that the premier will be March 25th. This happened last season too. History Channel put out a premier date that ended up being a month earlier than the actual premier.
