"A fresh look at the Mayan-to-Gregorian calendar conversion suggests that the world might not actually come to an end on Dec. 21, 2012. In fact, researchers say that it might have ended already. "

So what does that do for Tortuguero Monument 6 and Bolon Yokte K'u? It's the only Maya reference to anything that ties to 2012?

I see two glaring examples here WRT the art of sensationalism. One is the word "suggest" and the other is "might". Twice no less in the same short paragraph! IOW, your question is excellent, and right on the head.
