PostSubject: Sorry I'm late.   Thu Jul 09, 2009 2:21 pm

Wish I would have joined earlier. I am a big fan of UFO hunters and am number 4976 on the petition. I am a realistic beleiver of extra Terrestrials and have had my own encounter not to long ago. It's funny how even the closest of friends and family treat you different after telling them what you experience. I have come to the conclusion that people do not exept the truth because it scares them. It begins to tear down their religious beliefs and then they go into denial. My own wife witnessed the same ETV event I did and reacted in a complete opposite way. She basically went into denial herself and did not want to talk about it in detail as I had. Ultimately she has gone on with her life as normal. Seeing is defiantly not believing with most people. On the other hand I have become obsessed with UFO research. I have invested over 2K in recording equipment and sit out on my deck every night for 2 hours staring at the night sky. My story can be found here: http://www.examiner.com/x-2363-UFO-Examiner~y2009m5d21-UFO-Traffic-Report-CA-Pilot-spots-triangle-UFO-that-emits-blue-flash-of-light

I don't think that people want to deny the existence of extraterrestrials. The majority want proof of an event or to witness it themselves. Lights in the sky may have a natural down to earth explanation to them. I know many rational people who would laugh at the suggestion that some UFOs are extraterrestrial in origin. They want absolute proof of anything that is stated. In a way, I am also a bit like them. I would rather err on the side of caution, as this is too important a subject for me. (They also think it is amusing that I think Roswell was an ET incident.)
I saw a globe that looked like a jet's afterburner during the dusk. The sky was still lit so I would of been able to make out a craft. I did not see a craft or plane making the afterburner type globe. It was also completely silent and moved from the north to the south. I have seen shooting stars and such when I was out West and it was not one of them. Still, I will not conclude it is extraterrestrial in origin. If there were any other witnesses, they might swear it was ET in nature. I do not know, and it still could have been a drone or ball lightning of some sort. Until I can rule out everything, I cannot make the call of it being ET.

Do not give up hope, and look to the skies. Remember, it is up to us to provide the evidence that these things are real. It was never meant to be an easy job. Good luck on you finding an unknown and recording it.

Goddess Bless,

Lloyd

Welcome kidflash. You said:

I've experienced the same thing with some people. We react differently to these kinds of things; UFO sightings, etc. Some people are open, others will flat out deny anything just happened at all. . .

On the other hand I have become obsessed with UFO research.
Oh, yeah! LOL. I've had a life time of werid experiences, but didn't put them all together until I saw my "orange orb" in the 1980s; that's what started me on this road. I couldn't stop myself, I still can't!

I''ll be sure to visit your site.
